The original 2017 installation note records these observations:
- Changing driver-signature enforcement did not appear to affect the reported installation issue.
- On an English-language system, select Chinese during EPLAN installation if Chinese menus are required. Otherwise, the installed application may not include them.
- After installation, select the expert menu; the language option may not appear in the options under other menu configurations.
- If installation stalls at the virtual USB driver and Device Manager shows an exclamation mark, update to the latest HASP driver appropriate to the installation.
